The search for Ash

The police have completed their initial investigations, out of which came the April media release about Ash's disappearance.

There are two national
media opportunities to be released in July with Madison magazine and That's Life Magazine.

Also Missing Persons Week is coming up in the
first week of August. It is hoped more information will come out from the media opportunities that the police could investigate.

Ashley's sister, Janece and Michael, Andy and Jeni seached the inner city (food vans, hostels, Cenntenial Park) days and weeks after Ashley disapeared. Posters were distributed electronically and hard copies by friends, family and work collegues across Sydney and the country. Thank you everyone for the mass effort. I have recieved emails from Ash's work collegues providing snippets of information of Ash's movements and intensions prior to his disapearance.

Christmas came and went and still no word. We are now clasping to metaphysical feedback. Ash's grandparents arranged for a Buddhist monk in Malaysia to do a reading on Ash. The monk reported back that Ashley was not ready to come back yet. Two physchics also said that he was out and about and will hear of his where abouts soon.

We had another picnic 26 February 2006 as a year now has passed by to come together as family, friends and work buddies and send great love to Ash and ring bells for a safe return.

Ash, every day I miss you Ash please return soon. Love mum xxx

In May 2006 Ash's mum went to Western Australia to see if she could locate Ash or meet anyone that could have met him. She put Posters up through the Kimberly area commencing in Broome. She met other people wandering around and those who could spread the word. But with no luck. While Jeni was away her parents had a few hang ups and the traces showed the calls were from overseas - but who knows it could have been Bangladesh Call Centres.

Ash's long time childhood friend, Rebecca gets married 30 September and if Ash doesn't turn up he will be greatly missed at the wedding.

Ash is missed every day ! Jeni x

Jeni went to Darwin September 2007, distributed Ash's posters everywhere.

A dive was conducted 30 June in the area where Ash was frequenting before his disapearance, Diamon Bay and Rodney Reserve, Dover Heights. A boat was charted and four divers from the Abys Diving School searched the area for some items that could be in the area eg a pushbike, records, army style back pack.

Nothing was found. One of the divers said he had frequently searched the area of the last few years and not come across any of these items or anything else suspicious.
